My apple of choice has always been a Granny Smith. I just love the tart taste and the crisp snap when I bite into one. Caution must be used when making these apples, but will be well worth the effort when you bite into one.

It only takes a few simple supplies found in most kitchens to make this delightful recipe. A good candy thermometer is a must.

Lon Chaney, Man Of 1000 Faces

Lon Chaney Sr. will always be known for the top two classic horror movies he made: “The Phantom of the Opera”, and “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”. Did you also know that he made over 150 more movies throughout his acting career? It’s true. What is even more extraordinary is that he did all of his own makeup, often suffering physical pain because of it. I would love it if someone would actually find the missing film, “London After Midnight”. So far the location of that most sought after silent film has been quite elusive, to say the least.
