This is a simple recipe the kids are sure to love. So easy the kids will also have a blast making them. This recipe is one you can whip up and enjoy within minutes.
The One Pot Chef Show Demonstrates How To Make Chocolate Witches Hats:
All it takes is a few simple ingredients:
Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies
Mini Ice Cream Cones
12 ounce Bag Of Chocolate Chips, milk or dark-whatever your preference
Mini M&M’s
Baking Sheet
Waxed Paper
Instructions:
Lay a sheet of waxed paper on a baking sheet. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl for approximately 30 seconds, stir with a metal spoon. Place back in microwave for another 30 seconds and stir again. Repeat if necessary until the chocolate is smooth.
Using a pastry brush or back of a teaspoon, brush the chocolate on top of a cookie. Place cookie on the waxed paper covered baking sheet. Quickly coat the outside of a mini ice cream cone with the chocolate, making sure it is covered. Shake off the excess. Place the ice cream cone on top of the cookie quickly and press gently.
While the chocolate is still runny, place some mini M&M’s on your chocolate witches hat. Repeat until you finish your cones. After they have set a bit, dip the bottoms of the witches hats into the chocolate. Place them back on the waxed paper covered baking sheet. Place the tray of witches hats into the refrigerator for 20 minutes or longer.
Feel free to vary up the mini M&M theme by using other types of sprinkles on the hats. You can also use larger ice cream cones if you want. Just make sure you have some bigger cookies on hand to work with. Enjoy!
