Halloween Songs: A List Of Those I Remember
Everyone can usually think of a song or two that they can relate to Halloween. Here is a list, with corresponding videos (where available) that I have been able to dredge up from the depths of my aging computer brain. They are listed in no particular order. I do hope you enjoy them!
Halloween Song List:
Monster Mash, performed by Bobby (Boris) Pickett and the Crypt-Kickers, is perhaps the first one that comes to people’s minds when they think of a Halloween song. It first hit the top of the Billboard charts in 1962. Wow-it’s been that long? Really?
Enjoy the “Monster Mash”
Spooky, The Classic IV, performed this hit in October 1967. I still, to this day, remember hearing it for the first time on American Bandstand. This song was also featured on the HBO series Six Feet Under, soundtrack.
On your request line-Spooky:
Witchy Woman: The Eagles performed this song back in 1972. Beware of those sparks flying from her fingertips!

Frankenstein: The Edgar Winter Group performed this electronic masterpiece way back in 1973. My thanks to the late, great Robert Moog, for inventing the synthesizer!

Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered: A popular song and show tune from the 1940 musical, Pal Joey, by Rogers and Hart. This song has been covered by many performers over the years.
I hope you will enjoy this version of Bewitched, Bothered & Bewildered by Julie London:
