Make Some Mini Mummy Pizzas This Halloween

Mummy pizzas are a great Halloween recipe that the kids will find monstrously delightful! All it takes is a few simple ingredients.

Let Michelle Karam, professional chef, show you how simple this recipe is:

To Make Mini Mummy Pizzas, you will need:

Baking Sheet

Non-Stick Cooking Spray: Try using olive oil spray for a more authentic Italian taste!

Pizza Dough: You can buy some at your local pizza restaurant or grocery store, or make some homemade (see video below).

Pizza Sauce: You can purchase this at your local grocery store or make your own from scratch (see video below).

Mini Pepperonis: These are optional. Some guests may just like cheese pizza.

Black Olives: Sliced for the mummy’s eyes.

Mozzarella Cheese: String variety.

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 450F.

1. Coat your baking sheet with the cooking spray.

2. Take a small piece of the dough and form a small circle, about 3 to 4 inches in diameter. These do not have to be perfect circles. In fact they look better if they aren’t!

3. Put the pizza dough rounds on you baking sheet.

4. Spoon some sauce onto your pizza dough rounds.

5. Place your mini pepperonis and/or black olive slices where you want your mummy’s eyes to be.

6. Cut your string cheese in half lengthwise, then string it out. This will become your mummy wrappings. You don’t need these to be any particular size. Lay the pieces of cheese across your mini mummy pizzas. These will just be laid across the faces in different, staggered patterns. Just don’t cover up the eyes completely.

7. Place your baking sheet with pizzas into your preheated oven. Bake about 7 to 8 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
